AARC Yukon Quest Pre-Registration Form:

The 2010 Yukon Quest Will Begin On Saturday Feb 6, 2010 @ 11:00AM in Fairbanks, AK And Will End When The Last Musher Finishes In Whitehorse YT(Approximately Feb 20th).

 

The Arctic Amateur Radio Club provides support at all Alaskan checkpoints, with one or more Hams providing radio communications along the trail. AARC members staff the Yukon Quest Log Cabin where we provide 24/7 "real-time" trail communications, safety, emergency communications, musher positions and serve as an essential point of contact for Quest staff and potential emergency personnel.

We need Volunteers to help set up the AARC Net Control (Log Cabin), volunteers to man checkpoints and safety locations, radio operators to provide 24/7 support at the Log Cabin, spotters and miscellaneous support personnel.

AARC Quest volunteer duties, checkpoints and miscellaneous support positions are filled on a First-Come, First Served Basis. Apply Early to make sure you get the volunteer position you want !

All Hands On Deck....We are always in need of volunteers to show up for a couple of hours to help set up tables, radios, antennas and computer equipment at the Log Cabin Visitor Center a day or two before the Quest begins. If you are willing to help us a bit, please check this box
