The Chena Dome repeater equipment consists of a Mirage BD-35 power amplifier coupled to a Kenwood TH-9 dual band 2meter/440 radio which has been customized for Alaskan conditions. The 79A power is turned down to put out about 800 ma. This drives the BD35 to about 9 watts.
